birthday surprises

No, not my birthday!
___I surprised my good friend, Gabby, for her birthday! I brought her to The Melting Pot, which is a place she's always wanted to go, but never got to. Hmm, perhaps I shall go through the events to give you the full effect?

1) I told her to come to my house around three. And taped little bags with notes and a bottle of nail polish (she loves make up and nails!) with "Happy Birthday!" and "Hint to Your Surprise..." And then we left with my trusty, but temperamental navigation system as a guide. Oh and my shoddy driving skills... (Let's just say I do not help break that stereotype that Chinese people can't drive at all...)

2) We got kind of confused as we neared the place, because of the whole turnpike thing, which didn't make sense. And then I made a wrong turn... but we made our 4:00 reservation!

3) We ate to our hearts desires =) Fiesta Cheese Fondue, Salads, Seafood Trio, Shrimp & Sirloin, so delicious and worth the price!

4) Had Rita's on the way home. Swedish Fish flavor rocks. May have swerved sharply to miss hitting a dead raccoon on the highway...
