taylor swift can totally sing live

___Total apologies for having not updated nearly all week! I've been super, insanely busy this week running all the errands I was never able to during the swim season (And playing a prank on my teacher. It was totally successful, by the way!) between working and school. Blehh, I have updated my other blog, It's a Love Story, with my very first real love story! ___PLUS I've been to a Taylor Swift concert. Yes, Taylor Swift. Yes, the girl on the new cover of Elle. Yes, the Taylor Swift that I'm a total and complete fan of. Oh and I say Kellie Pickler (another favorite artist) and Gloriana (artists of my summer 2009 anthem) as well. I wasn't too excited or anything. I only yelled a lot, jumped up and down like a two year old, and sang along to every single song.... You know, normal stuff.
__Review? Yes, I think so, considering some idiot tried selling tickets to this concert for over a thousand bucks...
__To begin, Gloriana was amazing. Never heard of them? Their biggest single is Wild At Heart, aka my summer anthem last year, and their most famous member is probably Cheyenne Kimbal, of MTV reality show "Cheyenne" and this song. My friend had a crush on the lead singer, haha.
__Next was Kellie Pickler (whose gorgeous shoes are up top. Oh yes, I actually had a nice enough camera to see them from all the way in my section). I suppose it depends on your taste in music if you like her or not, especially because her voice is veryyy country. I used to dislike her voice, but it's grown on me and now I love it. She sang all my favorites: Red High Heels, Best Days of Your Life, Don't You Know You're Beautiful. And she was sick!!
__Of course, you may not care so much about the opening acts as you do about Taylor Swift herself. And, let me tell you, I loved her before, but now I love her even more! She was completely adorable, and after waiting FOUR years to see her in concert, it was worth every single moment. And, not to sound like a complete weirdo, I teared up when she was talking about coming back to Philadelphia to sing, etc. I'm such a freak, I know.
__And, contrary to popular belief, the girl can sing live. I really don't know what's going on during award shows because she sounds perfect in concert. And not CD perfect so that you wonder if she's lip syncing. She's legitimately sing and she's legitimately good. And the fact that she adds in theatrics to her performances makes them even more enjoyable.She even added in "What Comes Around Goes Around" during her "You're Not Sorry" performance. My personal favorite? Love Story because that's my favorite song. But Tim McGraw came really close... (Especially when she said "When you turn that Philadelphia radio on...) Over all, there were quite a few moments where I thought "She is SO adorable!" And she looked genuinely thankful when everyone was cheering (I feel as though she teared up a bit at one point...). And of course, she kept true to herself, with her uniform of boots and dresses:
