___I've been having a pretty crappy summer lately (not that I didn't plan for this). It's too ridiculously hot to lifeguard; my "job" is a totally unprofessional environment; and my days have started at 6:30 am every morning for practice. I'm exhausted, worn down, and ready for August to come so I can fully relax. And, on top of all this, my poor face is recovering from a massive peeling, so it looks like I have a disease, and my hair is a dead, frizzy mess! My outer appearance is basically reflecting my exhaustion. (Read: No outfit pictures for probably a while!)
___But leave it to music make me smile for a full four minutes and to feel insanely happy all at once. I'm not one to listen to slow songs or sad songs because I generally don't want to feel down when I'm in a good mood or even worse when I'm a sad mood. I love listening to happy, sweet songs that bring a smile to my face and take me away for a few minutes. Cue "No Other" by Super Junior. No secret I'm a huge fan, and this music video is absolutely adorable. It shows all the guys setting up something cute to show their love for a girl, and, basically, all males should watch this for proper tips in impressing a girl. I'm personally a fan of the wall heart, but Kyuhyun is a part of that, and I'm a tad biased towards him!
Ohh Super Junior, they're all so so cute too:)
ReplyDeleteMusic really does have the awesome ability to lift one's mood! Don't worry, August is only a couple of weeks away... I hope it comes soon so you can relax again! :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks so cute! Music makes me feel happy, too... not one for depressing songs.
ReplyDeletePS: omg. I had no idea Dakota Fanning was 16 already. I feel so old.
I am sorry to hear that your summer is not going great. I hope August comes soon for you! I agree with you about music, that is why I love Weezer so much, their songs always make me feel better within seconds. I am glad that you found songs that do the same for you!
ReplyDeleteWhen I get home I will be checking out your recomendations :)
I am so glad you like Nana. For me, the members of Trapnest are really cool. Reira is a beauty and you'll hear in the anime what beautiful songs she sings. In the beginning I didn't like " I need a girl" that much, but after seeing him live on music shows, Inkigayo, Mnet Coutdown, Music Bank and Music Core I am hooked on the coregraphy and the concept of the song. "Just a feeling" is better from my point of view though...
ReplyDeleteP.S The MV is so cute. Leeteuk with red pants is love :))
Bring on August!! It's not too far away now. I always find that listening to Blondie cheers me up (:

I love this post - music totally is a cheerer upper. Hang in there with the heat! We're freezing over here and I'm relieved to see the sun has poked itself out for 15 minutes just now at 1:00pm in July in Cali.
ReplyDeleteFor frizz hair (which i sadly can totally relate to) - try Sebastian Drench shampoo and conditioner. It's not super expensive and it gets.the.job.done.
Carrie :)
Judging from your pics, I'm gonna guess you're a fellow Korean? xD I'm not big on Korean music, but Kpop is alright once in a while. :] I hope you get some time to enjoy the summer! Sounds like things are pretty rough! best of luck!

I"m really into Vampire Weekend and David Bowie lately.
