___One of my favorite movies in the entire world has to be The Man in the Moon. Also known as Reese Witherspoon's first ever movie. About a young girl, Dani, and her older, pretty sister Maureen, and their romantic entanglement with their new neighbor Court Foster. Dani is fourteen and transitioning from just a kid to the young adult she sees her sister as. When Court arrives, she experiences her first love. But Court, who is three years older than Dani, becomes attracted to Maureen and a web of disaster ensues. Of course, this all has to come to an end somehow, and the ending is truly one of tragedy. Definitely one of those perfect nostalgic kind of movies, along the lines of Now & Then and The Sandlot. And it's the movie (not Legally Blonde or Walk the Line) that made me love Reese Witherspoon.
