dear lady gaga,

___In case, you know, you kind of feel like your style is heading towards "normal," and you're sick of all these wannabe pop stars continuously copying off of it, I would like you to take a peak into the Taiwanese fashion shows. I'm sure you could pick out something insanely bizarre and completely fitting to your addictive craziness, whether you want to go totally hard edge or totally girly and lolita.
___Because, as you see, in my ever growing infatuation with Taiwanese pop culture (and a little bit into the Korean as well...), I have discovered some shots from the Taiwanese fashion shows. The thing I love about Taiwan is that it seems to blend the crazy eccentricity of Japan (another place I love) with some Western sprinklings and then mix it with their own culture. And, of course, because I always find Asia in general to be far more uninhibited concerning style, I always enjoy seeing the looks formed for runways and musicians alike. ___As to what I would actually wear though, my choices are limited to the above. I don't think I could quite pull of anything else but that blue or yellow dress.
What do you think, avante garde or just plain wacky?

PS Sadly the pictures from my last post aren't mine! I wish I knew how to take such cool pictures!

  1. i think its both.. its cool to have avant garde ideas, but i think its very unrealistic in terms of marketing and customers' wants..

so i usually take these pieces as something like a piece of art instead of a clothing :)

  4. Incredible designs but I would take these pieces as art too. Couldn't see many people out there wearing the designs. But truly amazing, loving the colours and shapes xx

  11. I didn't know Tawain was so crazy when it came to fashion! I love these pieces - kind of like something an eccentric five year old would conjure with a crayon box. I love it!

  18. Very, very cool pieces of clothing, wacky and awesome can go hand in hand in fashion and these are definitely a bit of both...but it's so refreshing to see something different! Love this post :)
