___Right now I'm getting ready for summer. I'm a lifeguard, so I'll be in those guard bikinis all summer long, and I need to get in shape asap! My long break from swimming (which will probably end sometime next week) has left me feeling a little less...toned than usual. And even while swimming I never felt as in shape as I wanted to be. I think it comes mostly from my eating habits, because if I exercised anymore than I did during swim team, I'm confident I would be diagnosed with exercise anorexia!
So to help me stay healthy and find other exercise routines, I thought I'd ask:
What do you do to stay healthy?
PS Thank's for all the prom compliments =)
well your post has inspiredmeto get healthy fast in time for summer - Thanks!
ReplyDeletei try to eat healthy! I count the nuitrion I put in my body & if I don't feel I have enough nutrition (ie when i eat fast food as a meal) i take vitamins! hehe. Swimming is great I love it, for half an hour you get to work on EVERYTHING in your body rather than like the treadmill where its only your legs!
ReplyDeleteTo stay healthy, I:
ReplyDelete- try to eat a balanced diet and eat in moderate amounts. Lots of fruits and veggies, lots of water, salad, 'good fats' like nuts, etc :)
- don't really love exercise so I try to switch up my routine every couple of months so I don't get bored. It's often yoga or bellydance, but recently I have started jogging - just 20-30 minutes, a few times a week.
Hope that helps! :)
I was a lifeguard!
ReplyDeleteBest job ever!!!
:)
xoxox,
CC
I swim and I watch my diet. (Watching the diet only happens during beach season for me. Hahaha!) No carbs if possible. xoxo
ReplyDeleteTo stay healthy I run, try my best to eat healthy, and do some sort of exercising 5-6 times a day. My metabolism pretty much sucks so I have to take extra time to watch it. You can do it love - just envision a nice bikini bod!
ReplyDeleteI try so hard to be healthy but I fail. I just got done eating McD's. The only thing I can say is, make sure you switch up your exercises, because your body gets used to them. Say if you swim a lot, try running or walking to mix it up :)
ReplyDeleteI totally look up to lifeguards, I can swim but not THAT well!! I ride my bike everywhere and i have a stationary one in my room to use when the weather is bad. It was easier in college when I had to walk everywhere!
ReplyDeleteThe best work out in my opinion? Dancing!! When I get bored with running or weight-lifting, I just put on my favorite music and start dancing like crazy! You get to have lots of fun and at the same time get in shape! And also? Excersie TV for choosing the workout you like best so you never get stuck with routine! xxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
ReplyDeleteApart from dancing in front of the computer? I play tennis a few times a week and do 15 minutes ashtanga yoga in the morning. Although I eat pretty much what I want - carbs, sweets, chocolate - I normally skip dinner. That's all.
ReplyDeleteTo sweeten your day, I left you an award on my blog. Happy weekend. xx
I do cardio three times a week for 40-minutes each time. It feels so amazing!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to be a lifeguard. Sadly...I can't swim. :/
