fan bingbing at cannes

___Honestly, as much as I want to work in the Asian entertainment industry (as an agent or something like that), I know very little about it. My knowledge is mostly of the "idols" (which I'm now learning are different types of celebrities that the actors) and dramas. I know next to nothing about the movies or anything over there! But I did learn that there were a few movies from Asia, though only one from China, that would bring some Asian actors over Cannes Film Festival. It is only after I searched for a loonngg time and began putting names to faces that I realized my favorite looks were all on the same person!
___Her name is Fan Bingbing, and she is one of the lead actors in the only Mandarin entry, Chongqing Blues. I loved pretty much all her looks, though a few of her hairstyles I wasn't too keen on. The first picture of her in Chinese designer Laurence Hsu's gown is one of my favorites as it fits her so nicely and the vivid colors are gorgeous.___I also love that she wore two of my favorite designers, Elie Saab and Valentino. I love, love, love Elie Saab and she look's gorgeous in his creations! And she's wearing one from his spring 2010 couture line, my favorite yet!___Though, like I said, her hair styles are sometimes questionable, such as the Leia-esque buns above. I much prefer her hair down or parted when up. Though I always tend to find hair pushed all the way back is too harsh.
___But, kudos to an Asian actress looking gorgeous at Cannes. Most blogs shave been covering more of the famous fashion stars like Diane Kruger (who I'm pretty sure can never do anything wrong) or Kate Beckinsale, so I thought I'd share some pictures that haven't quite been seen yet.
