murder mystery birthday party- red carpet style

Ah, this weekend was a much needed break from the mundane world of school, swimming, and work. Although it did create a problem as my homework was slightly underdone as I was tired. Oh well, and to my English teacher who told me I need to bounce back from my senioritis, I can only simply tell him that I have a life and the technicalities of poetry shall forever befuddle me.
But, that story is neither interesting or pleasing to remember, so instead I shall share with you all my friend's amazing birthday party from Saturday night. It was a party that involved murder, mystery, and the excuse to dress in formal wear. Ah and of course, I got to act like Rita Skeeter from Harry Potter, as I was a nosy reporter.The story line, quite simply, was that an actor who recently won Best Actor for a movie crashed his car and died the night before the "Erics" (aka Oscars). It is then discovered he's been murdered. Everyone involved with the Hollywood scene and movie itself are at the party, questioning each other to reach their own motives and ultimately discover who the murder is.
{This is the birthday girl, another of my friends to be eighteen}
It turns out my friend Ardelle was the murderer the whole time, and none of us remotely suspected her! But, though we were all fooled, it was an insanely fun party. {He's using film photography, can't wait til he develops them all!}
{The cake at the top? Made by Abby, of course. Covered in fodant, "Cake Boss" style, with chocolate cream cheese frosting on the inside. Oh and an apple pie, incase cake isn't your thing}

Ah and a slight outfit shot. This is Ardelle {the murderer} and I. She's taller than me by quite a lot, it's quite unfair -sigh-
Perhaps there shall be more to come; I'm waiting on the real photographer talent to post their shots to facebook.
