i'm wearing rodarte

I wore a Rodarte dress for my New Years Eve out. Yes, I was like a little kid who just got a new toy. Yes, I fantasized all the exciting things I would do in this dress when I bought it. Yes, I needed help getting changed into said dress.

But no worries. Unlike the disappointing Anna Sui collection (which was barely available to begin with and twice the price....), Rodarte did not disappoint. This dress fit me quite nicely, and I got multiple compliments through out the night. It is on the short side, but for some one who's barely 5'3", it was no shorter than other dresses I own. The sleeves are a good length. Long and fitted, but cut off soon enough so that I don't have to worry about the fact that I can't roll them up when I wash my hands. Definitely recommended if it's going to be your purchase.
Surprisingly, this wasn't originally my first choice dress either. I originally wanted this nude colored one, and then, upon further online browsing, this blue one. But, upon arriving at my nearby Target, the blue one was MIA and the nude simply didn't flatter my frame as much (damn stocky frame...). I fully recommend this dress to anyone. Pair it with a pair of heels and you'll feel incredible. The bow detail on the back is pretty insane too.
