the shoe corner

"When I feel bad, I like to treat myself...Shoes always fit."
-In Her Shoes
I got my first pair of "real" heels when I was in eighth grade. Then I was trying to make Hollister look good and taking my fashion cues from the popular girls. I had never even heard of half the designers I'm in love with now, and Louis Vuitton was a monogram on the fake bags I wished I owned. They were of the Mudd brand, black, with pink lining, and I was infatuated with them. They still have a place in my shoe corner, and I hold them dear to my heart.
While everything else in my life changed, from my style to my friends, those shoes have stayed in their spot unfailingly. They still fit, and if I should so choose to don them again, I easily could. That's where I find the beauty in shoes. Clothes may or may not always fit depending on the day. Jewelry may suddenly cause rashes or fall away and be lost forever. Purses can sometimes grow to be too large or too small. Shoes always fit.
So welcome to The Shoe Corner. A blending of the old to create something new.

  1. I agree with your post... shoes always fit no matter what. That's why it is good to invest in quality shoes because they will really last for a long time. And may I say that it applies to bags too. Hahaha!
