so nyuh shi dae

___No secret, my interest in all things Asian-related grows every day. My latest love (well not exactly latest, as they were the first Korean song I ever heard actually...)? The nine-member girl group Girls' Generation (or So Nyu Shi Dae/SNSD), signed to the same entertainment company as my main loves, Super Junior. From their leader Taeyon to the maknae Seohyun, I think they're just so adorable and extremely dedicated to their group! And I do find it unfair how much criticism they undergo because I've seen some of the anti-videos, and while a few points made me go "Ooh... mistake" most of it was just harping.
___But that discussion is neither here nor there. These shots are from their first Photobook, and I loved the photographs so much I had to share!

See more here.

dear lady gaga,

___In case, you know, you kind of feel like your style is heading towards "normal," and you're sick of all these wannabe pop stars continuously copying off of it, I would like you to take a peak into the Taiwanese fashion shows. I'm sure you could pick out something insanely bizarre and completely fitting to your addictive craziness, whether you want to go totally hard edge or totally girly and lolita.
___Because, as you see, in my ever growing infatuation with Taiwanese pop culture (and a little bit into the Korean as well...), I have discovered some shots from the Taiwanese fashion shows. The thing I love about Taiwan is that it seems to blend the crazy eccentricity of Japan (another place I love) with some Western sprinklings and then mix it with their own culture. And, of course, because I always find Asia in general to be far more uninhibited concerning style, I always enjoy seeing the looks formed for runways and musicians alike. ___As to what I would actually wear though, my choices are limited to the above. I don't think I could quite pull of anything else but that blue or yellow dress.
What do you think, avante garde or just plain wacky?

PS Sadly the pictures from my last post aren't mine! I wish I knew how to take such cool pictures!
